What is a typical class like? A Music Together Class is a community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting. Your child will learn music through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children. Did you ever watch a young child express themselves musically and want the same for your own child? The key is to expose your child to fun, engaging musical experiences as young and as often as possible! Each of our classes includes songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences - developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers -regardless of their own musical ability.
Please remember that your child's class experience depends upon YOU! Your child will learn by doing, once we show them how we do it!
Bond and create a lifetime of memories together, as you engage in active music-making with your young child. The main rule in our class is to have fun!
Regarding INSIDE classes: if you're OK sitting relatively close to other families, sharing (sanitized) instruments or props, and generally being in close proximity to other families, join us! Class size is limited. Hand sanitizer will be handy and frequently-touched surfaces are sanitized.
